International College of Dentists (ICD), USA Section Foundation

The ICD, USA Section Foundation supports many missions and charities in the United States and around the globe. Financial assistance from the ICDF is focused on education, communication, leadership, and delivery of dental care to the under-served throughout the world. It was through multiple gifts to clinics at Kikuyu and Chogoria these dreams became a reality.

International College of Dentist Global Visionary Fund (Henry Schein Cares)

The ICD Global Visionary Fund (GVF) is a tax-advantaged (IRS 501c3) charitable fund created by the council for the purpose of collecting and distributing monies in support of initiatives in dental education and humanitarian oral health care. The fund responds to requests from ICD Fellows and other volunteers for financial assistance with their charitable works around the world. Dental supplies have been provided through Henry Schein Cares on several occasions to support medical/dental camps in remote outreach locations served by the Chogoria and Kikuyu Clinics.

1st Presbyterian Church

Members of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Fargo, North Dakota have been in partnership with the Presbyterian Church of East Africa since 1995. The generous support of this congregation has made the Kikuyu and Chogoria Dental Clinics a reality. Through the raising of funds, the gathering and shipping of equipment and supplies, the support of dental and medical camps, the scholarships for dental staff education, the sending of volunteers and the constant prayers, this congregation is evidence that, “with God, all things are possible.“
